Out of three cars from both builders built during differnt periods (Dec 64 - July 65) none had that style. All were identicle and were about 1/8" wide that goes around the perimeter with a channel imbedded in the middlw for a clean seal. Doesnt mean that type wasnt used or was an aftermarket solution however.

the EARLY 400 and 425 are the same specs minus the bore. Push rod lengths are different according to the Mondello tech reference manual(9.644 400, 9.622 425). Heads and cam should interchange fine as long as it's 45 degree. Fly wheel and water pump is also interchangeable.
For the record the following is the information for the stock cam:
1965 Early 400 - 52 Overlap/Int 278@0/Exh 282@0/Int lift .430/Exh lift .432
1965 425 - 50 Overlap/Int 286@0/Exh 280@0/Int lift .472/Exh lift .461

Same as Mongoose, don't need to worry on my Cutlass . 3:73's on a 71, 5/8" wider so needs a 5" BS to clear 255/60/15's.

WHATS A GOOD PERFORMANCE AND SOUNDS REALLY GOOD? FOR A BIG BLOCK? I'm using a 2.5" MagnaFlow H pipe system and very happy with the sound. Just load enough. Not sure about others.

Might have one, will look. You interested in off loading one of the mirrors ( provided it's in good shape). If so email me a picture. I've got one that's a bit beat up and another off a 65 GTO.

Who's are you guys using? I order some from OPGI and the rubbers are fine but the felts have no clips and look like they need to be glued on? Also too short. Tired of getting wrong stuff! Any suggestions where I can get what I need for a 2 door coupe. Thanks
