Thinking of going with Thornton short headers what do you think anybody have them and what do you think ? I have hookers on my cutlass with the 425 and like them just fine. Very tight fit though but I believe almost all have that issue.

Well, I guess it’s not just me then! 😁. Good to hear from you two. Once I figure out the picture thing again I’ll post a few updates. Hope all is well with both of you. I have that beat, the convertible hasn't been doing anything but collecting dust for years, more than I can count, but things could be changing here in the next few months, semi retirement is around the corner. Was just wondering how close you might be…. I hope you get some time to start again. I can’t believe it’s been so long. Good luck Bubba

Well, it’s been a long time and guess what….. I’m baaaack 😁. Perhaps no one else is even on here but any event I’ve finally started working on the car again. Guess Bubba jinxed me when he said “it will be finished before you know what happened!

Thank you for the information, I will try the shims as you suggest.
John John, think I have one if the shims don't work. In Oregon city.

Busy like everyone else but lurking every once in awhile. Little progress on my white car to date but that should change as I get settled into the new shop.

Your catching me! Looks tremendous as always Jason. Nicely done. I'm hoping to get much more active this spring. Moving to the country and new place has a large shop with three stalls. Will beat the heck out of the current garage!! I'm always impressed with your patience and detail.

I'm always up for a drink! Sorry for the confusion Dave but I was referring to the guy that replated mine for 600.00. I know he wants more but suspect he'd honestly settle for 1K or less as he wont get any business if he doesn't. Was only wondering why anyone would pay 1500-3000 if they could get an original plated for less and probably looks better when all said and done. I've put it next to my original panel on the Cutlass and its every bit as good if not better as the bright chrome is triple plated. Anyway, just my thoughts.

Curious why anyone would spend over 1K when this guy can do one for less and it looks every bit as good as a NOS piece or new. All you need is a good core and patience as he tends to take a long time. Not trying to be controversial. Also with advances in 3D printing over the next decade one-off parts may become easy. Time will tell.

Seems fairly common from what I've seen, doubt it's incorrect.

I'll look this weekend and see if I have any extra console doors. I have some sets, just not sure if I have a separate door. Thanks Amigo! I'm working up a small list. May shoot you a separate note.

I have a couple of license plate lights . Not in the best of shape . Metal has pitting , removed from Midwest cars. Can post pictures later if interested. Thanks Shane, interested and if you have the pigtail that runs from the rear harness to that light. Email is comstockbrian@msn.com

Found my SS pieces so OK there but still need an auto console door and also can't find my license plate light. Any help locating parts would be great, could trade or buy. Thanks.
