After looking at lots of old panels, decided to paint the tail of the rocket a different red. I've seen a lot of them all the same but the panels I have have signs that this was a different color. Seems reasonable but per gaps not.

Well not sure what I said to require that rant but I stick by what I said relative to supercars. They do have superior parts and I've never had a problem in 13 years of restoring vehicles and buying parts. Nothing to do with ego, just the facts.

Supercars set was almost perfect as I recall. Came with some extra pieces but put them on mine and don't recall any issues. There's a post somewhere in here from when I did it. I've bought a lot from Greg. Great guy.

Guys, hoping someone out there can help me out. I need a good console door for an automatic. The one I have is bent. Also the SS pieces that go around the rubber bumper fillers on the rear and front. I don't need them all so anything you have would be great. Thanks in advance!

Been a long time, finally putting my white car together. Question though, is the side chrome black paint gloss, semi or flat? Hope everyone's doing well!

Finally got through my credits and debits. Cost was 595.00... Will send pics once I get the emblems on but setting next to my original on the cutlass, I can't really see a differance. Pictures are always hard but this is truly a well done piece.

Here's better views in the sunlight. You'll see one deep pit that didn't get fixed and some slight scuffing in a couple areas in the center section. On the bright chrome edges, that's lint not light pitting that you'll see. I'm using a high resolution camera so every little thing is magnified. Note slight scuffing - barely noticeable Pit is about the size of the head of a pen Can see the slight scuffing if you look close, bottom section of the top center Can see the small pit he missed at the bottom center of the top section

Sorry guys, wasnt avoiding the question was simply tied up last couple days. The company is Star Bright Finishes in Oregon City, OR (503) 657-0533. Kevin is the owner, young kid that took over for his dad. A warning, you'd better be patient as it's basically a cou[ple man operation and most things I have him do take 6 months or longer. I gave him the tail panel last as a test as he told me he could do it, obviously was very skeptical but you guys can see the job he did. While not flawless pretty darn good compared to anything I've seen. The condition of your core is going to be key. Especially in the centers, pitting there is really hard to fix. Deep pits in the bright chrome areas will also be difficult.
As for price, I didnt dig out the papaer work but pretty sure it was 400-600 range. I had some credits from another job and he wasnt around so couldnt ask. He's only open on the week days. Now after doing mine, he may realize how hard they are to do or the market and price may rise. I've never been more please with it though. As Bubba said, looks new. Just keep in mind, he's not fast, has gotten mixed reviews in the area (mostly due to past history in my opinion) but he's always stood behind his stuff.
