Cool pics. Never seen a loading technique like that, but seems to work pretty damn well.

This attachment is the same engine after it was stripped and hit with a single coat of Rustoleum High-Heat Aged Copper. Note the water pump still has the Bill Hirsch on it, and you can see the difference. Once I put a second coat on it, the color changed slightly to a deeper bronze. Also, the lighting is terrible in the shop.
I like the Rustoleum Aged Copper, and it's available and cheap. I will add though that I did do four small paint test cards on metal (primer one coat, no primer one coat, primer two coats, no primer two coats). They all looked different after they dried. I think the primer brought out more of a milkyness and I ended up painted my engine two coats, no primer.

June 3 - Pomona Swap Meet June 10 - Long Beach Hi-Performance Swap Meet (decent, definitely not as big as Pomona) June 16-17 - 48th Annual LA Roadsters Show & Swap (Pomona)

If it really is a true '67 Camaro 350 it might be worth paying $1000 for.

Here's an earlier post, but it didnt go into this much depth. ultra-hi-comp.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=talk&thread=1840&page=1I guess what's being said is, done correctly, a canister and booster setup can perform well... In my experience, it doesn't perform well. Just my experience. DZ302 with a decent cam... driving experience can be described as, well, sketchy. Run high RPMs for a while and it wants to lock the fronts, idle around at low RPMs stop and go and all the sudden you have hardly any brakes or the backs lock. I guess my point is, my setup sucks bad and I cant wait to replace it with something correct. (on this particular car probably back to manual because it's only 2400lbs and manual brakes should be plenty) I think the hydroboost is a good concept though.

Will double check when I get home tonight but believe that is correct. Grant, have your dad check the set I gave him a couple weeks ago as those came off of the 425 that was in my current project car. They fit like a glove. I hope to get to all that soon. Maybe next couple of months if things go well. Thanks again for the parts. I was starting to lose steam on this project.

"MISSING" THE "H" "BELTLINE" "TRIM" AND THE "TOP" IS THE WRONG "COLOR". "SUPPOSED" TO BE "BLACK".
F me, I'm getting nausea reading all the capital letters and quotation marks.
Interesting on the data plate. Column 2. it has B and G. G is the code for console in an auto according to Bro's site. Maybe they used that for the low number of 3 speeds that had a console?

So, another thing to consider here is that not all Hooker Headers that fit our cars are the same. They have a range of headers listed for our cars.
real57vetteguy is running 3902 Comp headers, which have fitment issues also reported by Chadman.
Robski's pictures (on the bronze engine) appear to be 3101 Super Comp headers (1 3/4" x 32"), which he is reporting no fitment problems using Hotchkis arms and a mini-starter. (Robski, is that the part #? They dont look like 3902s)
OldsProject is running 3202 Super Comp headers (1 7/8" x 36") without fitment problems. The funny part about that is that the fitment guides now list the 3202 as '68-'75 only.
In December when I was researching headers, the fitment guides showed the 3902 Comp, 3101 Super Comp and the 3202 Super Comp were all supposed to fit our cars.
OldsProject, I got this from an email you sent me from a while back so correct me if you are not running the 3202 Super Comps.

The experts who have owned and been around these cars far longer than I have will hopefully chime in.
From my experience, as you pull the switch out, half way out turns the park lights on only, then pulled all the way out turns the headlights on but park lights turn off.
Feel free to correct me.

With a little ingenuity, you can put together a hydraulic setup without spending $500. The end goal is to move the clutch fork the correct distance (not too much, not too little). I have a Chevy that has a 1986 Nissan Maxima clutch master and slave cylinder. The slave cylinder mounts to a simple bracket on the side of the engine. Works just fine and the parts are cheap. (had one slave cylinder leak, I think it was around $20.) Is it perfectly correct? I don't know, because I bought it like that. Are some guys cringing when they read this? Probably. But it sure beats the setup this particular car came with from the factory (a cable that required you had tree trunk legs to push). Final thought, if you have the $$ to spend, this is pretty trick: www.mcleodracing.com/products/1400+Series.+Bearing+%26+Master+Cylinder+Kit.mcl

Thanks Bro.
So Shane, maybe your car was the turning point where they ran out of partially boxed so they started using fully boxed on the other side!!

I tried to search but couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a discussion some time ago about boxed control arms... Something like the '64s were fully boxed like the pictured passenger's side and in '65 they did the partial box like the driver's side... Anybody confirm? I think there were cracking issues with the earlier full length boxed arms and the newer style were stronger.
BTW, what are you doing with that rear end? Are you going to use it?

Tell him to buy a CTS and save on the return shipping.
Seriously though, you put the part number... it's the buyers responsibility. Depends on how nice of a guy you want to be.
