Doesn't any manufacturer make a dual 4-bbl manifold for a 455?

Offenhauser did, not sure if they still do. I think they're the only ones.

I have the complete setup on my blue 442. It can be removed for the right price.

Doesn't any manufacturer make a dual 4-bbl manifold for a 455? I sold off an Offy last year for $200 shipped on ClassicOlds. Not worth much and was truly a tough sell. The guy who bought was going to use it as a dust collect just the way I was.

Thanks guys, I guess I didn't do my homework very well. I had been looking around for one at the swap meets, and online, and hadn't found anything. If used dual four setups are worth what I'm seeing of the 3x2 setups, I'm probably not interested anyway, but was curious about it. Offy gets $522 for the manifold, and apparently is the only manufacturer who make one (Mondello sells Offy). It appears that they accept only Rochester or (probably) Carter carbs, and won't work with an HEI. For what I plan to do with my 442, I don't need any more power. Doesn't take much oomph to drive 40-50 mph to and from car shows; I really just like the looks of 2X4s. Thanks again.

I'll keep my eyes open....maybe a "reasonable" one will pop up again. Like I said before, I really just want one for "looks"....and I gotta admit, I like the sound when both carbs are wide open!
64b09: Why the heartburn at Mondello....I figured everybody thought he was the Oldsmobile "God". Didn't he die not too long ago?

He hadn't been involved in the company with his name on it in years. I am far from the only one who thinks Lynn is a ripoff artist.

One example, their "special" 455 Trans Am headers for "only" $399 in 1998. They are actually just Hedman 58150 BBO/Abody headers. Which even now years later you can get for around $200 , then you could get them for $150. They are on my 64 now, and I got them from my uncle brand new in the box, after he ordered them for his BBO T/A. There M.O. was to change part numbers so you couldn't compare prices.
Anything worth having, you can get from someone else cheaper and with better customer service.

There are a shitload of ripoff artists out there like that.....selling somebody else's product and making money off it, and I'm all for making a buck, but tacking on more profit than the original guy makes is kind of underhanded. I also understand an outfit carrying a variety of other mfgr's products and HAVE to make a buck, but sounds like Mondello was misleading everybody, selling Hedman headers as his own product.
I've never bought anything from Mondello; their name has been around for years. The only time I ever saw Mondello himself was on Muscle Car and he was telling how to build a 455.
A lot of those big names aren't all they are cracked up to be sometimes. I used to think Gene Snow was the greatest funny car driver (used to gather up his old used spark plugs) until I found out he was a pedophile. The only big name racer I ever met who was all he seemed was Dick Harrell. I had the honor of helping him wrench (gofering) on his Camaro at Wichita one night. Great guy.

If a person can buy a brand, spanky new one from Offy for a bit over $500, I 'spect he'll have that one for a while. Apparently, no one makes one to accept Holleys.....probably have to mount them sidewise. I used to have a tunnelram made by an outfit named Ridgeway called the Ridgerunner, used Holleys mounted sidewise....kind of a linkage nightmare.

I expect a person could use an adapter to mount Holley carbs, but just looking at the manifolds, and at Bro's setup, I doubt if there is enough room to clear the fuel bowls.....maybe like I said, a guy could mount them sidewise (don't know if you can rotate the adapters and do it) and get the clearance....that's always a mess to get them jetted right. Simpler to use different carbs....and probably run just as well.
