Thats some scaly stuff youre working on Shane. Every car Ive taken apart has the same rubber brackets on the rear.

I tried to search but couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a discussion some time ago about boxed control arms... Something like the '64s were fully boxed like the pictured passenger's side and in '65 they did the partial box like the driver's side... Anybody confirm? I think there were cracking issues with the earlier full length boxed arms and the newer style were stronger.
BTW, what are you doing with that rear end? Are you going to use it?

Are you going to use it? 65's were partially boxed (where the sway bar bolts go thru) Some very late 65's and all 66 442's had the full boxed control arms.

So Shane, maybe your car was the turning point where they ran out of partially boxed so they started using fully boxed on the other side!!

T.P. what type of control arms did your car originally have. Sense these car are right next to each other in production numbers.
