Try some metric sizes if you can find them. Worked for me.

Hoping NOS parts hoarders out there have one of these... The front half of the pump aka the stator. I have a GM# of 1367171 or a casting number of 1358647

The dimples are on the tunnel for the purpose of adding the console probably and maybe they all came that way on the assembly line then the holes added as required for the build. I converted my cutlass using the dimples.

Does any one have photos or know how to mount auto shift console and does the small mount go up front or in back any info will help Thanks I you have the carpet out and the floor panels are nice and clean you should be able to see dimples on the hump that indicate where to drill to mount the bracket and the shifter assembly. I think RAMZ has a manual on his site that shows drawings on which bracket is front etc. Look for the dimples though.

Nice shifter. I need the lever that attaches right on the transmission itself. held on with a nut. They are specific to a floor shift car

My A/C car has the clutch so I thought I would convert the 455 in my cutlass to the same setup. What a PITA.. I had to change everything and I mean everything to match the A/C cars setup... Water pump, all 3 row pulleys, brackets...you name it. I don't think there is any other way to do it...

I am in bad need of the shift lever the goes on the ST300 Trans for a console car. Im re-installing my factory shifter and the guy that sold be the car years ago included everything he took off except that.

Unless the top one is somehow damaged I would expect the bottom bearing to be the one to fail first as it is exposed to the elements somewhat. If I recall the BPC is the heavy duty version of the switch.

There is another one at the bottom end I believe. There was an old thread a few years ago where someone replaced the lower bearing with a repop from a chev column place. Maybe that member will see this and chime in.

You wouldn't think an "A" body would have Olds specific parts and in area like steering columns but I cant say I am aware of any other GM tilt steering wheels that use the split pin to cancel the turn signal. Never seen a horn contact setup like this and I have had a few GM's apart over the years. Im just really really lucky someone was actually selling the contact assembly on Ebay just when I needed it.
