Question for anyone with tilt. My horn has never worked.
Today I took the tilt wheel off and it looks like the canceling pin on the wheel somehow hooked onto the ground wire on the contact plate snapping it and breaking a piece off of the plastic plate housing. Anyone have a NOS ground plate/wire or a used one? Im guessing that these are Olds only... sigh...

Scotty, sorry I can't help with any extra tilt parts. I don't know if these parts are Cutlass/442 only, but they are hard to find. It took me forever to find a tilt column turn signal switch, this was before they started making repop ones. I always hoped this is where finding Chevelle parts would help, guess not.

You wouldn't think an "A" body would have Olds specific parts and in area like steering columns but I cant say I am aware of any other GM tilt steering wheels that use the split pin to cancel the turn signal. Never seen a horn contact setup like this and I have had a few GM's apart over the years. Im just really really lucky someone was actually selling the contact assembly on Ebay just when I needed it.
