I don`t normally comment on posts like these, but a couple things caught my eye.
The color, excellent choice
The down draft vent system is my favorite.
I`m guessing the make shift "stool" with the top somewhat caved in from being sat on is solvent or thinner? Brings back memories of the one and ONLY time I used a 5 gal. lacquer thinner pale for a stool, ended up with a severe case of monkey ass for several days.
Very nice color choice

the front of the car was a hell of a work, since the car one in his lifetime had been hit at the right front. The damage was not that bad, but badly fixed. We tried to straighten it out as good as possible. Attachments:

Thank you all for your support, I am still on my way getting it done, and there is some work left... I am proud beeing part of the forum and the wild bunch of the 65 442`s we ride the Oldsmobile family since 1995, street and strip, but the 65 is just a special blast to me, can`t explain. below my other 442, a 71 w-30, has been a winner in class for some years. Stay tuned and a healthy and funky 2016 to all of you!!!!!!!! Sascha and Belinda (my wife rides the blue 64 Cutlass behind my 65 442, it is a time capsule, never restored, just plain stock, except the drivers seat cover)
