Do the bolts get painted? Seen them both ways and unpainted makes most sense to me. What about the two brackets in the picture?

Question? Does anyone know where I can find the correct green phosphate brake clips for the 65 Olds? Who sells them? Or where I could find the right paint? Thanks! 65holiday. Fusick sells the correct ones I do believe

Notice it has the rare options-Q87=left fender chrome delete, and w29 1/2= tilt headlights. You don't see them too often. From the picture, the rest of the car looks great! ---bil I thought only mine had those really rare options? Guess there's two ;D

I can go look at these if anyone is interested 1964 Cutlass tail light assemblies (chrome bezel, housing, lens and bolts). Left and right. Both in good condition. Chrome is not perfect, but not pitted, both lenses have minor imperfections. $65.00 per side. www.supercarsunlimited.com/info/close/closeouts.html

OPGI - most of the stuff they list for 65 442 doesn't fit or is wrong, customer support people aren't very bright either. Mondello sometimes is a close second but maybe it's just me.

Postcar, you seem to know quite a bit about this so I'll give you a little more that might help. Here's how this cam degrees at the 0-0 setting (it is a 45 degree bank): Intake @ .050 - Opening, 10, closing 38, Duration = 228 Exhaust @ .050 - opening 30, closing -3 (BTDC), Duration at = 207 Setting the Cloyes to the advanced position gave me this (0-triangle): Intake @ .050 = Opening -6.5 (vs . -4.5), Closing 34 (vs 31.9), Centerline 109.6 (vs 108), Duration 207.5 (vs 207.4) Exhaust @ .050 = Opening 35 (vs 42.5), Closing -7 (vs -15.4), Centerline 112 (vs 119.2), Duration 208 (vs 207.1) Are these the readings you got off the cam for the card posted above Not doing anything with Z's cam. He has the same cam and the same timing set up so this is likely what he has. He set his timing gears to the 0-0 setting so my guess his opening and closing events are close to the top readings. Would that cause problems? I set mine to the bottom settings which are close to the cam cards specification (the cam card is in the parens with actual next to it). These are the actual readings from the degree wheel, heads off, compression stroke using a Mondello gauge that bolts on the top. Readings were taken on #1, #7, #8 and #2. All very close. Keep in mind it's a small wheel (Comp Cams) so there can be a little deviation. Would either of the readings give him problems?
