Right now Im leaning towards keeping the forum 65 oriented but adding a section for 64-67 topics/tech. That way the board stays the same but people can join that arent strictly into 65s.

I just voted yes,and here is why (like anyone cares!) I have had almost every year Olds since the 64 through the 72,many 442s,W30s,Cutlass,F-85 all of them. The 65 seems to end up one of my favorites. That said, there is a LOT that is common with the years 64-67,and not so much with after. 2 groups. Different styles and parts. Not all,but most of the later ones seem more popular or at least more expensive. The earlier ones seem to range about the same as each other. If the board was actually made into separate forums and you could skim what you want, who cares what else is on,as long as the people behind it can keep up with the work! Lots of info and parts pertain to many years,we would have access to that also. CO is good, but has everything, most I skip over. Even if this had the extra years, they are similar. I didn't even realize the 64 wasn't officially included! Is anyone still reading this far down through the drivel" Thanks. ---bil

I need to ask you a question JR>> Why are you so against breaking up the tech section to drive-train, body, frame, and interior. I think it would greatly enhance the site, but that's just my thinking. To me it would make looking for stuff just way easier??

technically 64s are not part of the board. They started freeloading and we never kicked them out. Ouch, that hurts. Looks like I need to find a new place to hang out.......or get a '65 ;D

I guess I must just be dense but I don't understand what traffic has to do with it, dose it cost more for more sections?? I just think it would help the members find what they are looking for, and make for a better layout for the forum. Just my .02

And yes Bil, technically 64s are not part of the board. They started freeloading and we never kicked them out. And we thank you for it.

Someone may be looking for this, see that and answer it even though they were not looking for it. If you have multiple forums that get little to no posts people tend not to enter them.

Good thing were friends JR because some people might take offense to what I'm going to say but I think your smokin crack, to me it make the site easier to navigate and people might tend to post more knowing their posting in the correct section. But I'll shut my trap and be a follower for now.>>

OK . so I'm a little slow but I finally put my vote in and it was no keep it all 65. I could see 64-65 for the obvious reasons. It seems to me you can find other fourms that cover any year you want except the 64-65. Its nice being able to come onto the site and know what ever is being said could apply to your car. I know it may seem that few participate, but I know I look at the site everyday or every other day. When I think I can add to the subject I say something, if not I just sit back and see how it turns out. It may not be politically correct to leave anyone out but I'm sick of being politically correct anyway. So thats my vote.............. Gary

My vote don't count sense I'm a sick case of mistaken identity any how so I won't bother. That would be sickeningly unique! I will say it again. I didn't vote because there wasn't an option that fits how I feel. I don't think it should be just 65's, it should be as a minimum for, "officially" for 64 & 65's, and I don't have an issue with allowing 66 & 67's either. We have several members with 66's already.

Do we really need a whole forum dedicated to frames and suspension? I found 7 threads about frames in the past year. 13 interior threads in the past year. Again is that enough to warrant its own forum? If this is something the membership is dying to have then Ill do it. Ill put another poll up.

Maybe also separate out the Cutlass/F-85,and 442s,each with its own section? Then subsections under each, buckets or bench, coupe or post, etc. Then each person could have an entire forum based on their exact car,no time wasted looking at other peoples crap. ;-) ---bil
