Nice guys, those 17's may work!. Thanks Here are some more pictures from yesterday. I am shooting to get the car home during the Xmas Holiday. You guys know that this a not a 64, 65 442, nor did I want one. However 64-65's are pre-mo!, especially the "post cars" I wanted to build my own 425-F-85. That said you guys have been a great source of information, from how to do it, restoration tips, just a plethora of experience here! Detail photos of the door, trunk latches, fasteners fully restored, paying as close to detail as an original restoration as far as the quality for the build. I even take all the good fasteners, shims, etc. put them in an Eastwood Tumbler let them go for 10-12 hours, treat each of them to a wire wheel, A coat of Rust Encapsulator, then finish them in SEM black 39143. I may end up putting a nice carpet in the car-I have the original rear vinyl flooring I may sell at some point. ( dumba"" :'(me I accidentally threw the front out!! If I decide to AC race the car I will definitely will need race type quality front bucket seats, thus I will have " Grannys" original vinyl front and rear seats that are in good shape up for sale at some point. So keep these thoughts in mind.

Wow...I haven't checked in for a bit... This car looks SOOOOoooo right! Everything is just coming together perfectly. Gorgeous paint, beautiful frame restore, great engine. Congrats! It's really taking shape!
Any decision on the roll bars? I'm not sure...although seeing nice red bars in there would look great...

I have some time to think through more, but right now I don't think so, about a 6 point roll bar. I am starting to have my new dream home/ shop built and the "rustbucket" is taking a back burner for the next 6 months in terms of making decisions and spending a bunch of $$$$. I'm stretched very thin right now! :' But in the meantime I am continuing to get things in order for assembly. I do have bunch of pot metal emblems etc. already being restored and plated. Should be ready in 3 weeks. Plus there is boxes of new stuff that I have ordered in the past ready to be put together. Tomorrow I am going to install a few things and will give an update.

;D Ha! It's funny. This is the car that actually cost me a girlfriend a few years back. She had no idea why I needed another car when I was working on my '70. I said,"...but, it's a '65."
Apparently what I thought was an unbelievably solid answer means nothing to pretty girl looking to get a ring.
oh well. I still have the '65.
Good luck with yours! -pete
