PS: those radiator hoses don't fit the new Aluminum radiator anymore and they are ugly-there are gone!

Very sweet dude! I see a lot of height on that intake manifold. Any idea yet on hood clearance issues? Speaking from experience...

Should not be a problem-hood clearance. It's a stock performer with no spacer on a Dean Oliver Q-jet. Yes I was getting tooooo used to the roller sitting, I starting having crazy ideas like taking the body off the 67 and setting it on there! And taking the 455 out of the 67 and putting in place of the 400E. Glad that over!!!

Its looking great Robert. I know that my performer has been milled, I do not know how much, but with a quadrajet and a breather with the flat type base (not a drop down base) I had issues clearing.

HMM will have to "double check" ( hey is that you Rogers) it jogged my memory-thanks. I did have to buy a new 68 Corvette 350 drop base for a Q-jet for the 67 with the torker. And there is very little height difference between the two manifolds. This is on the 67 the hoods are different.

Somehow I just don't see you slapping cones with such a nice paint & restoration. Looks like I,ll be seeing you over @ the show & shine area at GG instead.

Rocky you could be right, but I am contemplating now to install a roll bar or not while the interior is out. After the first ding, oh well as I say.

Stan speaking of stripes I have decided to have a black stripe painted on the drivers side, just like the optional one in 65. I will then have the steelies painted black too. I think that will really look cool.

Mongoose those are actually GM 15x7's, bought them from a club member, he sandblasted them and painted them original GM black, whatever that code was. The plan is to perhaps use the front and have 16x8' made for the rear that will look original with the 64 dog dish hubcaps. Wheel Vintiques I think can build these. But for some time to come I will use what I have. Mark it's snowing where your at, ( bummer it's 70 here! ) let me get the car home from the body shop and I will take U up on your offer. I will get U a plane ticket to Dallas!!! My wrenches are ready-plenty of 34 degree Miller Lites.
