Do you have any close up photos of the boxed in section of the rails? I am thinking about making my frame into a convertible frame or just box it in and not care if it resembles a convertible frame.

Went to Harolds today, they said bring it on down, we can do it, but it's going to cost you around $800.00. At this point in time I really think that is the thing to do so probably later this week it will be taking a trailer ride to the frame shop.

Well, got a quote from the frame shop today, more or less it doubled to $1,400.00. I think for the moment I'll have to pick it up and work on the tub for now. Maybe one will show up and maybe in a few months I'll have that one fixed. Time will tell.

what the hell could possibly cost $1400? I think I'd look for another frame shop, just for comparison. Hey Jeffy, what are the numbers on the left rear of that frame?

I'll check the numbers when I go get the frame back, probably tomorrow.

Well' I did a little calling today, found a couple of frames, no vert frames, and had one guy want to sell me a whole car. I didn't get any pictures cause it wasn't a vert but it sounded like it was a 442. All from southern junkyards. Their out their boys, just have to do the old detective work.

Jasen:
How the hell do you search for these frames in different cities? Is there a way to search all of CL nationwide? I can't seem to find a way to do that.
