Olds is in storage. alot better place than my 2car garage. Winter work is not limited though. I have 25000 sq ft of room and only 4 cars occupy that space.

I didnt. I never removed them, the dye wipes off them easily. I only took apart the buckles, the chrome body mounts and male ends stayed on belts.

So another day another dollar I guess. Yesterday I trailered home the 442 (25 miles on a borrowed trailer with rails) It seems as if the car shifted or the aluminum rails moved. I originally only had about 2 inches of clearance on either side and yeah I got some fender damage on the passenger side. The work seems to never end. My goal for the summer is to put in storage in fall with no trailer (driving???). Still have alot of motor revamp work that needs to be done though. Id post pics but I mudded and primed the fender instantly upon getting home. Im sure alot of you guys have had similar dumb mistakes starting a new summer with your olds?.

No never... Did I mention that after the car was painted I drove it down the street to start doing "shake down runs", and when I made a u-turn in the street the fender/moulding came down on the tire and pushed the top/center wheelhousing screw into the fender leaving a little nipple in the fender? No... I didn't? Hmmm... I never make stupid f&$king mistakes either.

Going to get quotes on rechrome for these two bumpers today. the front has two tiny pin holes other than that they look straight and solid.

Engine is all in today. Broke her in after a few minor set backs. Ran for 20 minutes at 2000 rpms. No leaks. In the first couple minutes eengine was running at 200 degrees with oil pressure at 45lbs. Gonna try posting pics and video later today. I would much rather drive round the neighborhood. Timing is a tick off but thats it at low idle.
