Tommy you should send me your interior it looks good sitting in your car but I think it would look even better sitting in mine. I need to get motivated and get my buckets recovered and order the rear seat covers.

No problem mike if you ever want to see newer pics let me know, thats all I had on hand. Those pics don't even scratch the surface. I just talked to my old man and he said he only knows of four other pin stripers in wisconsin and around the board the going rate is around 250$ for entire car. A dealership charges more than that for tape stripes. Dying art , most definite, maybe DEAD.

Got a few things done today. Taking a break from annoying motor troubleshooting , so I decided to do some interior painting. This is the console I had got from 66442, It was originally black.

Finished up my last door panel today also, I leaned it up against my tool box and it had got a divot in the top of it. I really hope that it goes away, I put so much time into these panels. I will let it sit in my attic for a few days maybe it will come out.

I am actually installing everything I know I can remove before paint that I can to minimize scratching to the paint. My Dad told me to put it all together before paint and take it all apart that way you will have a better idea on what to expect upon reinstallation. He has restored over 15 to 18 classics. It was a hobby of his. I already told you guys he worked in a foundry but as a second job he did pin striping (very rare art for cars). really well known in wisconsin. I can post pics if anyone is interested? Did he sign it WOJON?

Looks great, my panels and dash pad did the same thing from leaning against whatever I had them on and a few days later went away. Where did you get the Cutlass emblems on your door panels? I can seem to find any.

alldun5- No he signs his cars Tom......, The six periods signifies the number of children in the family, It had changed as the years went on. Real57vetteguy, mine came on the old panels however I have seen them on Ebay really cheap before. If I see them again I will give you a heads up.

Tom, on P. 1 there is a pic of your interior with the new, red carpet spread out. Did you recently replace the rubber clutch pad as it looks new compared to the brake pad?

No I didnt replace it but around that same time I had put carpet in, I had removed clutch assembly for some reason and sort of cleaned it up a bit with some simple green, and never got around to brake pedal at that time.
