My seats are out getting new upholstery, I stopped today after work and they are done. They were closed but no harm in looking through the windows.

I also got carpet cut and fitted properly, I may remove it when I get the exterior painted.

I am actually installing everything I know I can remove before paint that I can to minimize scratching to the paint. My Dad told me to put it all together before paint and take it all apart that way you will have a better idea on what to expect upon reinstallation. He has restored over 15 to 18 classics. It was a hobby of his. I already told you guys he worked in a foundry but as a second job he did pin striping (very rare art for cars). really well known in wisconsin. I can post pics if anyone is interested?

Those seats look great. And I would agree, putting everything together for a test fit is a very sound way to proceed. Better finding out any issues now and deal with it then a surprise later.
I'd also love to see some pics of your dad's pin striping. I love that type of work, which is nearly becoming a lost one.
