Hi all. I was thinking tonight, thinking about the members here, Its always nice to know who, who is and what they do. Sometimes you might have a forum buddy who does or sells just what your looking for. And you might never know it, For instance I now BRO knows everything, but is he a store owner, mechanic, farmer, tractor rep, ice cream maker? Is he 18 or 78? Jasen has wicked cars, is that his living, or is he a post man? Some people might not want to be involved in this some might, but I will start in my next post!

Hi all, I'm Mark, 38, car junkie, I am now doing my first full frame off build at home, I have been building cars since I was 15. I actually had one go through Barrett Jackson. I'm self tought, and have found a passion for the Olds cars latey. I run an erosion control/sitework supply house, and also dabble in rentel property. I dont really like to advertise this, but since my build is close to near, I will say, 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Anklosing spongilitis, which is a rare form of arthritis that attacks the hips and spine, I take an injection every week to be able to walk and function. My neck and spine are fused as 1 piece for the most part, 12 years ago I was told I would have to have hip replacements to be able to walk, today I am still going, Its pretty tough for me to work under the car or under the dash, a lot of the time I have to get my lovely other to help me get out from under a car. With all that being said, all your views and comments give me the drive to keep going. I keep several different height chairs in the shop so I can sit and work on all parts of the car. Yesterday when BRO mentioned the views on my build, it made me feel like a kid on Christmas day. All of you guys have helped me so much, even you post car hahahahahaha. So thats me!

Well I'm game. I started with cars at the ripe age 11, a little shop down the alley ran by Wayne Gapp, next in came Jack Roush. At the time, 1969/1970 both were Ford engineers. Anyways I was like the neighborhood little kid that kinda bugged all the big kids. Since I didn't go away they put me to work, mostly taking Boss 429's apart along with some FE's that Jack was racing at the time. Well everybody grows up and so did Wayne and Jack and after a couple of years they moved on and I moved on to my first 65 442 vert that I bought at 18. I owned that for 11 years. After a couple of kids and some scary fast dirt bikes I bought my current 65 vert. Only owned it for about 9 years now, had it for about a week before I tore it apart, maybe one day I'll have it back together. In the mean time I saw this add about 6 years ago on a 65 post that caught my eye. Called the following day on it and as you might say the rest is history. It's the green post you see flash across the top every so often. I'm a tool and die Supervisor, about ten years younger than Glenny and currently suffering through a pinched nerve in my neck but were going to get the green machine out of hiding tomorrow and see if I can bare to drive it. It's fun getting old. Oh, the wife and I also show Tibetan Mastiffs, here's a picture of my boy Dozer and our new son Goober.

My name is Vinny, born in Brooklyn, NY into a Oldsmobile family. I bought my first Oldsmobile when I was 14, a 1965 442, which to this day, I believe it was the fastest Olds I have owned to date. 100% stock with factory air. Since then I owned another 65 442, a 1970 W31 Cutlass, a 1962 Olds Starfire hardtop plus the 2 cars I have now, 1968 Hurst/Olds and a 1962 Starfire convertible.
I worked professionally for 10 years as a autobody repairman, but left that industry back in 1992 when urethanes came into play... now I am a pastor of a church, doing a different type of restoration these days.
Fishing is my therapy and I am itching to own another 1965 442... I have the bug again!

34yrs old originally from so-cal. Married for 15 yrs, 3 kids, and 1 on the way. Spent many years working at Freightliner building class 8 heavy duty trucks. Spent a couple of years working on boats and some time at a Chevrolet dealership. ASE Automotive Master Tech. Currently wasting time back at Freightliner. I enjoy cars (I've owned roughly 50 so far) and when we can share that time as a family it makes it even better.

I'm 39 years old, I have 2 kids , work as a baker full time and construction part time and with this economy its been really part time. Born and raised on Oldsmobile's. my first 3cars were 68cutlass's/442 then i bought a 64 cutlass. Sold the first cutlass I ever bought back in 2000 and have regretted it ever since. I've always like the way 65 442 looked so about 3 years ago I started to look and came across the 4 speed I'm slowly working on. Who knows maybe in another 5 years I will have it done.

Name is J’, 33 years, live in Southern California all my life. My very 1st classic car was a 1959 Chevrolet El Camino, sold it as soon as I found out my wife was pregnant with my 2nd child, I now have 4 kids. My dream is to give my kids a classic car to own.
With the money I sold the Elko, got me a 1961 Chevy Bubbletop Impala back in 2002. In 2010, I came across a 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible, it was different and it wasn’t a Impala. I fell in love with the Cutlass style, very different and never seen one like it! That I now plan on buying a hartop 64 or 65 Cutlass or if Im lucky a 442 Cutlass, “just don’t let my wife know, tho!” LoL..
I work as a Design Engineer, and been in the current company for 9 years now. I’m Just waiting for MY WIFE to get her RN license so I can retire soon! LoL! and work on my cars. Last year I bought a 65 Holiday coupe for parts only and I this year I bought a 65 Post Cutlass for parts too, I never knew CUTLASS parts aren’t as easy to find as Impala’s.
64, 65 Oldsmobile Cutlass and 59, 60, 61 Chevy Impalas are now my favorites! And I plan on getting these collections …

Hi everyone, I'm wayne and, at 64, I'm probably one of your oldest members. My experiences have been quite diverse. I grew up on a farm helping my dad cash crop approx. 300 acres until 16 years of age. At that time I got my driver's licence using my dad's '63 Starfire to later that day race GTO's. For the next 3 years I worked as a pipefitter/welder in Sarnia's chemical valley. At 18, I switched gears by going to university to eventually earn a Master's degree, allowing me to work as a school principal for the past40 years. I bought my first car at 17 , a '65 Olds which I raced at Motor City Dragway north of Detroit and I've been an avid '65 442 enthusiast ever since. I've included a pic to show you how I put BRO'S banner to use!!
