Anybody mind giving me an accurate measurement of the length from the bottom of the number "2" to the bottom of the shifter handle? I have the correct '65 4-speed handle for my bucket-seat car, and it was cut and welded back together on a goofy angle. I want to know the proper length so I can re-weld the handle properly. If it's OK, I need the measurement from the absolute bottom of the shifter handle to exactly the bottom of the "2". Thanks people!

I have a cut and rewelded handle mysef. Came on a 442 engine and trans that I bought that came out of a 1958 Jaguar hotrod. Don't see that too often!

I came up with 4 15/16" on 3 different ones so between Big Mike and myself, you should be darn close.
