Saying hello from Watauga, Texas.
Thess are photos of my 65 which I am on my second go around with. I originally bought it in El Paso, Texas back in 1987. It was my daily driver until 1992 when I traded it for a Chevy Cheyenne pickup. I soon realized this was a mistake but my efforts to get it back were wasted. I tried for the longest time to buy it but soon lost track of it after I moved. In April of 2008 I was looking at another Olds forum and noticed a 65 Post for sell and after further inspection of the photos I came to realize this was my old 442. I contacted the owner and a deal was struck to trade my 67 Cutlass for it. At this time I am collecting parts for it as the guy who I traded it too took it apart and never put it back together. It was missing the drive train except for the 12 posi that he put in it. It was also missing some of the trim as well as most of the electrical hard parts. My plans for it are up in the air as a factory restoration is not the direction that I intend to go.
