Hey guys, I have a question about my AM Radio Antenna on my 64 F85. I am assuming its the same on a 65 as well. My car was involved in a small fender bender after I got home from the OCA nationals this summer as is now in the body shop being repaired. The AM Radio Antenna was broken off down inside the fender and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I have not been able to find one in any of the Olds parts suppliers, but I did find a couple on the Ames Pontiac site for a 64-65 Lemans/GTO, and one from Classic Industries from the 62-65 Nova catalog. National Parts depot had one for a 64 Chevelle and Original Parts had one listed for 64-69 GM. My question is were these the same antenna that Olds used and have any of you guys had to replace one on your car. I did find some that were listed for rear antennas, but the ones that I have mentioned were listed for the front fender and that's what I need. Just trying to make sure before I purchase one. Thanks in advance for your help. This is a great site!

I'm not sure of the 64-65 cars being the same. If you look on Ebay once in a while you will find the proper antenna, I don't know of anybody that produces an exact duplicate of the 65 antenna.

64s and 65s are the same antenna. Antennas for these cars are really hard to find.
