I talked to this guy about two months ago. Cars been laying around for about 10 years. I was interested in the motor, a friend was interested in the body, but we never got there to look at it. I do know the motor was laying outside under the tent with the vavle covers off.
What do you think the motor would be worth? It was a 65 400.

I've been watching this one, although I don't need any more projects. This one is listed in MARLBOROUGH, CT. and listed on craigslist for Hartford, CT but shows up on Long Island's craigslist.

Well, it's been awhile, and since this one has been sitting outside with the V/C's off, that's not great, but this guy might know what he has. I've seen whole motors oil pan to carb without the pulleys and accesories go for $1200. I've seen one that was complete front to back, top to bottom including a 65 Muncie to boot go for $2500, but that motor had been in a garage since removal from the car with the engine sealed up well and oiled down. $2500 for a car well on its way to be restored and comes with a rotisserie stand as well, not a bad deal.
