Hi guys, Here’s my 442. My dad ordered this car June 16, 1965 and took delivery August 13. He was 19 years old. He ordered it so late in the model year that the dealer told him it might come through as a 1966. The car is a Sports Coupe (cheaper and stiffer), four speed (you don’t buy a performance car with an automatic) and has a bench seat (date seat). I hope the photo links work, the first pic is Mom and Dad leaving for their honeymoon in April, 1966. The second pic is when he pulled it back out of the shed for the first time in years in the mid 1990s. The last pic was just the other day. He did restore the 442 in the early 2000s with the goal of putting it back to the way it looked the day he took delivery. He passed it on the me about a year ago. The yellow car is a V-6 sports coupe he also had that he gave to my son. He still has a Target Red, unrestored, rough life but driver-condition Cutlass droptop. Thanks for the site, any questions feel free to ask! photos.app.goo.gl/Teh6fsEHknejWzB6Aphotos.app.goo.gl/8ECR2M8sA9nPi67VAphotos.app.goo.gl/Ed6eYwDQ3DVGVMFy5

I saw this car at the 2009 Olds Nationals. Spoke to your father about it. Very cool car.
