We had over 550 members and now it only shows 128?

That’s a shame… I’m here!, but I do have to get better at staying involved. My project has stalled, as I assume many others have as well. Life gets in the way, but we never lose the our love of the car, or the support of others! Stay well!

Wondered the same thing. Use to ask a question and would normally get an answer with some help. Doesn't happen as much anymore. Posted a question yesterday. I can understand part of the question might not be clear enough. But, when asking where the backup light harness comes out of the car, I would thing someone would know. I have simply forgotten (after 10 years) and didn't take enough pictures when I took the car apart.

I am a fairly short term member, a few years, but I notice it too. Maybe other sites, but maybe people are just getting older, and getting out of the hobby? We have a pretty active car scene here in Florida. I noticed a lot of older guys selling off their hot rod and muscle cars this year, and not doing more projects. I am really grateful for the help that members have given me here, and the parts I've been able to find here. Thanks.

I think it's some kind of forum error. You don't go from 550 to 128 members in a month or two and besides they wouldn't all quit the forum.

Cleaned up the member list. Lots of "members" that were not real members.

I have not been on the site for quite a while and just too busy. I did post a new avatar of my car, which is now finished, but of course they are "never" quite finished. But I am happy and it runs great. Not a 442 by serial number but it does have a 4bbl carb, 4speed 2004r by Janis, and the 2 pipes are a pair of Walt V.'s (OCA member) recreated original 442 pipes. I consider it a "car the engineers would have liked to put on the showrooms but the suits said "NO! The car is period correct I think, with the exception of the Quick Fuel carb and some very minor parts. Mark Rremmel built the engine 468 "D".
