Looking for the bell crank that mounts on the firewall for standard shift accelerator linkage. Any condition, I can repair or refinish. Please PM with info. thanks. I’ve seen these go for stupid money on eBay. I stripped a few cars over the years and never thought to grab the pedal bell crank for the couple of standard shift cars that I stripped. Wish I had, sorry can’t help. I don’t even have a spare for my 442. Good Luck

How are you doing with the conversion?
Just curious what is the difference between the auto and stick bellcrank?

I just started this past week. I waited four months for some back ordered Prothane suspension bushings from Jegs, and six months for the new springs from Eaton. I just enjoy driving the car so much that I didn't want to take it apart till I had everything needed to put it together. The car is up in the air, engine and trans out, suspension coming out this week, going together with all new suspension, four wheel power disc brakes. new axle bearings and locker differential. The engine is fine, but everything but the heads is coming off for new gaskets and seals. the hardest job is going to be cleaning all the oil off the frame, under-body and suspension. Everything has a thick coating of oil and dirt on it. No rust on this undercarriage! Every single gasket on the engine was leaking. I also found that three freeze plugs were severely rusted, and on the verge of leaking. I'm hoping to get it back together in about four weeks, if i can get in three to four hours a day on it.
I didn't realize that the switch is actually the pivot for the linkage on an auto trans car, so I can't remove the switch without destroying the linkage. I want to save all the A/T parts for someone who needs them. hoping to get some linkage this week, a few people are searching for me. Thanks for asking.

How are you doing with the conversion? Just curious what is the difference between the auto and stick bellcrank? An auto shift bell crank has the trans kick down switch built into to piece. A (3) 4-speed bell crank does not have the switch and is a pretty simple piece.

Thanks for the replies. I found one today. Some parts are really getting scarce now.
