Love the way the other list member says that he never said it was numbers matching, yea, right. Oh, and he also happens to be building a 442 clone. It really amazes me how some "Olds" guys do things when it comes to 442's Why can't they just come out and be upfront and list it as, non original drive train? If there is going to be a question list the proof that it's real. If it doesn't have the original drivetrain, what else is it missing?

That's why I posted the link. Notice what I asked? He then sent me a PN saying the 400 had been replaced w/ the 350 in '72 I think it was.... I just deleted the PN w/ no reply. Only thing that gets me is that someone may buy the thing thinking it's the real thing! It's buyer beware, but I just hate to think someone like that is going to pick up a fair amt of cash for selling a car he mis-represented! Ralph

I have talked to this guy in years past. He always seems to come up with legit Olds parts (albeit at high prices). I think I had a picture of a '65 red and black cars from him so he may have had them for a while. Just my .02.
