That's from Hot Rod, he's a member here but I haven't " seen" him lately. Well since the woodward dream cruise but I mean on the forum.

Ralph, that's you man, black and everything!!!! It would cost you more to buy a cheap one than it would to buy this one. JUMP ON IT! I'm sure tom would even end the auction early for you. No, can't do that, but go for it man.

Ralph Man, $350+ that's amazing. I'm always astonished on how much certain items sell for at times.

Again, you can get these wheels redone in modern plastic by Kochs Steering wheel restorations. They charge about 395 bucks. Why mess with an old wheel that may crack after one summer of use?
Get a wasted wheel, have them recast it, and be happy for years.

Get a wasted wheel, have them recast it, and be happy for years. I'd be willing to do that, but Kochs won't ship to an APO address! If someone has one & would be willing to get it redone (I'd pay up front!) & ship it, I'd be 1 happy camper! ;D PS- I went to $235 & stopped! Ralph

If someone has an old spare there willing to sell or give you I'll do the dirty work. I have a really crappy black one that I'll give you Ralph and I will ship it to Bubba gratis. Then you two can work out all the details. But I would love to see a few pics when it’s done so I can see what they can do with a challenge! It is in the dreaded storage area above my garage, ugh, which I haven't gone through yet. I won't be able to get to it until next week some time, if somebody doesn't step up before I get to mine I'll drop you a note.

There was a guy on the old 65 442 email list with a Saffron hardtop that had Kochs do a wheel. He said it was so nice he didnt want to use it. They got the mold from a NOS wheel so it should be perfect.

That'd be REAL nice!!! Then we could go for it! PN to keep the board cleaner? Ralph
