I'm going to put put the backup lights back on to the rear bumper. There was a foam ring that made a seal from the housing to the bumper. It was rotted and chunks missing. Does someone repo this seal or what have you guys done for sealing that surface? This car will be outside a lot.

No one that I'm aware of makes the original tar type gaskets that goes around the lights in the bumpers and for the taillights. The guy that made the silicone gaskets that are on Bro's sight might make those gaskets as well out of silicone. Fusick might make them for 65's, they do make them for other years.

If you can't find anything.......the 3M strip calking works well. It comes in a box with enough to do 10 cars.
