I went to spray the silver part of my grill with the recommended Plasti-Kote Steel Wheels "618" and it is very metallic (lots of speckles). Is it supposed to be this way or should it be a smooth finish? It doesn't look right.

You'll have to wait for the Ramz to get back from the Nat's to answer that unless someone else has had prior experience.

Ive used the Plasti-kote paint on the dash, not the grill. For the grill I use Eastwoods detail silver. Matter of fact the Eastwood paint is better for the dash also.
