OPG is notorious for back orders and shipping returns. You really dont need to order from them, there are others out there that carry the same parts. Its that free shipping card they send out that hooks you. ;D

You also need to watch out for "generic" parts from OPG I ordered body mounts and they were nothing like the originals. Inline tube charges outragous shipping charges. I bought $6 worth of parts and was charged $12 for shipping.

I've ordered from OPG, never got a complete order, and they must think Olds parts are the same as Pont. and Chevelle. Never again. Right Stuff Detailing is a great place to deal with, good people,

OPG is notorious for back orders and shipping returns. You really dont need to order from them, there are others out there that carry the same parts. Its that free shipping card they send out that hooks you. I haven't ordered anything from OPG in a long time, but the last time I did I had a great experience. There were two items back ordered out of about 25 that I ordered, so not too bad there. I didn't have to return anything. But like Jasen said, there are plenty of places that sell the same parts. Heck, I ordered a complete set of 442 emblems and they all came in Fusick's bags. They use to sell them about $2.00 cheaper than Fusick's, that's why I ordered them from OPG. I don't know if that is still the case. I've hear horrible stories about Inline Tube. Pretty much everybody has troubles with their parts and customer service. I have heard a couple people say they had a good experience with IT, by two good to 50 is way toom much for me to even give them a try. But with anything the resto warehouses are a business and they are going to do what makes sense for them. If they can stock and sell body mounts that will work on an Olds, but was made for Pontiac's, then that's what they are going to. If you want Olds parts, you need to go to an Olds supplier like Fusick's and Supercars Unlimited. Those are really the only two Olds specific resto warehouse that I know of and even with them you won't get everything perfect. Some things you have to get made, no two ways about it, and it's going to cost more. The Fusick's guys are on the big Olds listserv and they said that they are going to have repro 65 taillight lens in early 2010. They have been approved for reproduction and should be in production shortly. So there is still some small hope for more 65 parts. Plus with guys like Ted taking the bull by the horns, things are better now than they ever have been. Certainly better than 20 years ago when I restored the Sports Coupe.
