There is quite a bit of rust through on my rear window channel I cut out the panel right below the channel not even sure what it's called. Here is what I found. Here is the part I cut out. It is the panel that runs form the rear window channel down to the trunklid seal channel. Does goodmark make a replacement panel for our cars?

been there done that.
Dont toss out the old panel because the new panel probably isnt going to have the little nubs on it where the chrome trim clips to. Youll need the old one so you know where to put them on the new one. Thats if they arent already rotted away. ;D

I'm surprised to see that they don't sell the replacement piece around the front windshield and cowl area. They rust out as well and as we all know the greenhouse is the same on the GTO. Can't you build a 65 GTO from a catalog?

The link just says the session has timed out. Was the section listed in the catalog that was posted before?

I put one of those front repair panels in my other car...Not fun but got it done....took a while because you dont want to make any mistakes in that spot ...also its too bad there are no replacements to do the sides in front...

I am happy to say that is one area I don't have rust...at least from my cursory inspection.

here is the part number 4030-521-64 and the photo OK, now I know what you are talking about, I did know about that part, I have one sitting on a shelf as a matter of fact. I'm talking about the sides of the cowl area, the parts that this part pictured would butt up against. The same thing Scotty is talking about.

I wish someone made quarter panel patches. I had to make my own on a Pullmax. But before I could make the part I had to make the dies for the machine.

yes...check out this thread. Keep in mind the pieces shown are basically test pieces for the dies. And it was done when I had time between assignments. Still need to fine tune it but was very happy with how well it worked. If you guys are interested I can post a formal thread and explain the process? ultra-hi-comp.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=416here is a sneak peek
