Is anyone familiar with a good source for the trim clips. I thought I had a set from EvilBay but the vendor took the money and skipped town. My clips are all brittle. All I can find is an OPGI part # A10318. Does that sound right to anyone? CUTLASS Fasteners & Clip Kits Exterior Body Trim Molding Clips (A) 5/16" 64-72 A10318 KIT $7.95

Is there a part number listed in the 65 assembly manual?

Is there a part number listed in the 65 assembly manual? Better yet, what is a 4H molding?

Not sure what 4H is, but try Northlandfasteners.com as they have thousands of various type clips. I mentioned them in the Door Panel Clip segment.

It is the thin upper molding on the 65s that runs along the top of the fender, door, and quarter.

It is the thin upper molding on the 65s that runs along the top of the fender, door, and quarter. Ah, got it, I call that beltline molding. May not be correct, but I remember that first before I would the code on the data plate. This has been asked before and I posted the info on those clips. I took a look around but can't find it right now. I will repost the info again. This company sells them; www.restorationspecialties.com/I purchased a set of clips for my Cutlass vert when I was working on it. There are two types, the majority of the clips are the standard 1/2 inch plastic rectangle that fits over and slide locks into place on the trim nails on the doors, fenders, and quarters. The ends of each piece of trim uses a bolt ob 1/2 inch spring clip.

Impressive catalog. I like how a lot of the items are shown in actual dimensions!

Is anyone familiar with a good source for the trim clips. Here's the info on the clips from Restoration Specialties; www.restorationspecialties.com/ that I said I would look up and post. If you look at the catalog (.pdf download) on page #123 - part #2517 10-24 x 1/2" these are for the ends that bolt on, and for the plastic push on; page #153 - #11288 This is what I have used for my Cutlass vert with the "H" molding.
