i am going to be getting my 65 holiday body up on the rotisserie sometime soon (hopefully) and i was wondering if anyone has done this with theirs? if you did, do you have photos? i am basically looking for a measurement from the center of the rotating assembly (on the rotisserie) to the outboard front body mount holes on the bottom of the firewall and also the rear body mount holes which would be on either side of where the gas tank was. am i making any sense? sometimes it is kind of hard to get the weight centered on the rotating assemblies and it wont spin all the way around easily... and i am bad at guessing. sorry if i didnt explain this well enough, and thanks for any input. if no one has done this, i guess i will have to figure it out and then post it

It's actually quite simple........A = the axis of the rotisery B = the body of the car C = the center of gravity. Follow the simple equation below and you'll have no problem. Well maybe a little problem............. Just drop 12" from center axis an you should be fine.

I was trained to identify "center mass" through a set of Peep Sights...

I'm planning to paint the firewall and underside while on the rotisserie then set the body on the frame for final paint. I have some GM black lacquer body/chassis paint. I'm thinking I should use an epoxy body/chassis paint with appropriate gloss. I live outsdie of Atlanta, GA. Problem is the day work interferes with my hobby time. And the economy issues make the day work hunt harder.
RamZ and Bro, you two inspire us all. Bubba, I like your tenacity to work the old convertible frame issues, I'm right behind you. All of you provide the enthusiam to keep me moving with these long term projects.
