If anyone needs the factory original plastic grommets that are located in the door, and accept the interior door panel spikes, they are available. I'm not sure why all the supply houses we deal with do not have them, and even send us the incorrect ones, but they are available from at least two companies. I purchased a box of 25 and they are identical to my originals . I'm not sure of there are rules on this board regarding company info, so I"ll hold off giving the details until I check.

I didn't think there were rules here, but many of the sites don't want vendors listed. Here is the link from the place I purchased them from. In case the link does not work, it is GM part # (NO3617), and is sold at NorthlandFasteners.com. I also saw them at Autodiscountfasteners.com. Northland sells a box of 25 for "cheap"! (.25 cents ea.), and the gentleman was very helpful. By the way, did the stock door panels use screws anywhere? If so, where? Mine had screws along the bottom, but I am not sure if they were stock or added later. Mine also had a screw at the top near the triangle window. northlandfasteners.biz/Store/product_info.php?cPath=36_123&products_id=1018

Yes, screws across the bottom (4?) and one up by the vent glass.
