This is my first post, but I am looking for some advise.
I have a 65 442 Convertible, that my father purchased from the original owner, who was also his best friend, when the original owner was drafted back in 1966. It has been a member of our family every since.
My 5 year old nephew wants to go for a ride, but my sister will not allow this until I put three point seat belts in the rear seat. It is also the law in IL that kids his age have to be in booster seats.
So, question is where did they originally drill the holes for the rear seat belts? Any advise on adding three point seat belts to a convertible? Has anyone done this project and can let me know where to mount them?
Thank in advance for your help.
