Does the interior of the A-Pillar get painted the same color as the bottom of the dash? I've got the light blue interior. The lower half of the dash is light blue, upper half is dark blue. I think I remember the A-Pillars are light blue... just want to be sure.

My vert is burgundy ext with white interior with "White" A pillars. My coupe new in 65 was black on black but it had a white head liner and I'm "almost" sure it had white pillars. Gary

www.tedstevens.us/L-69 Just about the time you think you have it figured out something else shows up and your back to square one. Look at this car Ram-Z posted up with 7500 miles and you can see the car looks to be dark blue with a black interior, while head liner and black or dark blue pillars. Go figure. Gary

I think it has a lot more to do with the head liner color than the dash or interior color. Black head liner=Black A pillar, Blue=Blue, White=White and so on............... I can verify these, first hand. Do we have a listing for head liner colors?

Black head liners never came in these cars.
Mine is red, black interior, white headliner, black A pillars. Coupe has red interior with white head liner, red A pillars.
Sterling came with an ivory head liner. Blue came with a light blue head liner. Club coupes with turq came with light turq liners. Everything else had a parchment white head liner.
No relation between head liner and A pillar color. Only deviation from the lower dash = A pillar color is white. Black lower dash, white A pillar.

I parted out a red car with a black headliner and interior..........now it was a shitty black head liner, and if it was replaced, I have no way of knowing cause it looked like it had been in there forever, but I don't know, or maybe never had a reason to look it up, if I even have any documentation that shows the colors. (hows that for a run on sentence) So in that case I will yield to Z's almighty wisdom.

The colors are on your site, on the interiors page. Each interior color also has what color the headliner and carpet were.

I have the light blue interior. The A pillars are light blue, top dash is dark blue, bottom dash is light blue. All 4 of my cars have the same interior as yours, all have the blue A pillars. Two of them are verts, my 442 originally had a light blue top, my Cutlass had a white top, both have bule A pillars.

Thanks all! Obviously my car isn't a factory resto... but this is one of the things that I wanted to be "right".
