Took a third look @ a "suspicious" area in the trunk where the floor meets the sheet metal going down in back of the bumper. The trunk floor has been replaced, but the joint between where the vertical supportsmeet the "raised" part of the floor (wasn't replaced) & the rear panel looked like it had been caulked & then repainted along w/ the rest of the trunk. I'd already asked the prev owner & he said "don't worry"!!!!!! Looked again & carefully scraped a little of the "caulking" away. !!! Didn't like what I saw at all! Scraped some more- I've got a "rust gap" between the rear panel & the trunk floor almost all way across the width of the car!!!! Anybody make those panels? Thanks, Ralph

Not that I know of Ralph. The GTO guys may have that piece, wont be the same but you might be able to trim it down and use it. Or resort to fabbing it, which is probably what youll have to do.

I was afraid of that (grrrrr....) Oh, well- if onbody has an original in good shape they might sell, I'll have to resort to having the body shop @ the car dealer where my grandson is a sales trainee do the fabrication. ANYBODY HAVE ONE IN DECENT SHAPE THEY WANT TO SELL? rALPH
