Well I've been bored soooooooo I put new bearings all around and reshimed my rearend, new clutch, pressure plate, input bushing and throwout bearing, went back to the wide ratio 4 speed for the deeper 1st gear, adapted the 442 shifter handle into the Hurst competition Plus (without the bolt on adapter), Changed my 2 year old brake lines to stainless and installed a dual master cylinder from "The Right Stuff". Sorry Jasen it was "The Wrong Stuff" It was supposed to be everything needed for the conversion. 1. The only lines that actually fit were the rear wheels. 2. I had to cut, bend and double flare the front ones ( they were all 8 to 10 inches too long. 3. The front to rear line is in two pieces and again 10 inches too long. The master cylinder does not come with a boot or the rod that works with our cars. The distribution valve hits the wheel well and the bottom of the bracket hits the bolt below the master cylinder. Soooooo after cutting, bending, grinding, double flaring and swearing, It fits perfect". While I was at it, new hoses on the power steering pump, new brake pads, new upper "A" on the front (I was having trouble lining up that wheel, ( thought I'd see if it helps), new ball joints and oh yeah, painted the infamous ring around the drive shaft. I think that's all...........

Sounds like making lines that fit is harder than curing Cancer. A local guy bought Inlines dual master kit for his 66, no where close to fitting either. Sounds like you got pimped on the lines. With you practically rebuilding the car, are you going to finally bring it up here for the DreamCruise?

Because RamZ had trouble with them and put them on the "BLACK BALL LIST". It's all his fault!

Got the basement tore apart. Cant work on the car. Who do I sound like? I have Justin's trans done, I worked on the frame for a day, and I now have the Thunderbird in the garage, trans and clutch coming out, and then it's the van's turn, get it fixed up and sold. I have a full plate as I always do, and I've had the car out already so to answer your remark, a basement is no excuse! It will be there for a long time, just like my bathroom, and see I didn't even mention that.
