Looking Great, what media was used in the blasting? Silica sand at a local blaster.

Thanks, we don't have many places for blasting in my area but a local guy now offers mobile and on site blasting for small and large parts, frames, and bodies. He uses water and recycled glass that requires minimal containment and claims less mess and better results. Then applies a rust inhibitor that flash rusting for 72 hours.

On the show they were saying it supposedly doesn't even harm the grass.

Not to be a dick but motors run on electric, engines use fuel.

So did you buy a harness or used the one out of the gmc, And just bought a different ECM?
Thinking of using a 08 3500 Chevy 4.8 with a 700r4 in a 64 post just curious
Thanks

Wow guys, I couldn't agree more with a 442 but the ls motors can be great with 25+ mpg depending on set up and you can turbo easily as well.
I am currently debating on a stripped 64 working in price with no drive train and I have a perfect 4.8 sitting in my garage that I did a 6.0 swap for a friend why not use it ?
Man that seems like a great build and am curious how it turns out. with the mods you have made wondering on mpg as well, yes I know these are hot rods and mpg don't matter

Purists, all is wrong, except what they've changed. Besides it's only a lowly Cutlass.

Seeing as my Photobucket account has completely vanished I deleted all of the posts with missing pictures. No account by user or email. Hopefully this year will see less other projects and more time available for her. Last of the rental houses goes for sale in May and the rest have already sold. Here's progress on the shop; Should have heat next winter.
