Can any body tell me, if a set up on a 69 GTO dis brakes would work on a 65 442 manual brakes?

hi there, yes they will work , i've got a 68 olds 442 front disk set up on mine. take all the parts off. the only thing that you're not going to use is the brake booster.they are bigger and you're going to have to find one off a 64 or 65 olds, buick, gto or chevelle. you can buy them also but it's cheaper if you locate one off a parts car or wreckers. the parts you will need to take off are rotors, spindles , master cylinder and proporotinal valve, calipiers, flex lines.

Another thing very often overlooked in this swap is the frame bracket for the rubber line. It is different as well and you'll need it for the swap.

hi there, the one thing i forgot to mention was with the flex lines, they need to be longer then the ones you take off your donor car , if i remeber right i ordered flex lines for a delta 88 or pontiac gran prix so you have the length and no binding problems
