I got this back in the early-mid 70s,before this I had several 88s,and a starfire. After several years,I had started to prep it for paint, and removed most of the trim, coating it with wax and wrapping it in an oilcloth in the trunk. It sat for a year in the garage, then in a weak (drunken) moment,I sold it.The next guy never did anything with it,in fact, left it in my garage until I had moved and the lease ran out,the car then was removed to a junkyard. When I got my present 65 442 conv,I bought this one back for parts.Mine had been hit down both sides, and needed every piece of chrome. And in the trunk was all of it,after 20 years! I ended up using many parts, then stripped it.If I knew how hard it was to find parts,I would have taken more, like the frame! I thought I was fairly thorough, but I think there was more to get. That was 17 years ago, though. I did save the trim tag and serial number plate, though. ---bil

Too late-but it was on the donor list, and gave many 'organs' so other Oldsmobiles may live! Boy,when I think of the cars I got rid of,thinking they were too far gone to save..... ---bil
