Does anyone know where to find the correct tool for removing the head light, ignition and wiper bezel rings that hold them in the dash? ?? Chanel locks leave a little to be desired.

I tap on them with a small flat blade screwdriver. There is a tool shown in the Olds manual however. Looks like a socket with three prongs that fit the bezel slots. Have Jeffy make one.

I saw one for sale on ebay last year. I wish I had bid on it. I was lucky when restoring my dash as they loosened by hand. I hand tightened after restoring/painting. The finish is soft so plyers will definately leave a mark, even when using a rag around the bezel. The screwdriver method can also leave a mark, so care must be taken.

Now thats something you could sell to every GM restorer out there. I'll partner up with you Jeffy. I think we all used the small screwdriver or a small punch, but not when we are striving for perfection and especially on obsolete parts.

I've found the tool at OPGI. It's in their catalog. Part #CC28246.
