I have new seals, the ones that seal the door glass to the quarter window....its mounted on the quarter window glass ,whats the best way to remove the old ones and install the new ones........also, is the seam in the seal on the outside or the inside?

Just tear the olds ones out. The slide in from the bottom, but if they are old and brittle Id just manhandle them out of there. Clean the groove in the chrome really good the soap up the new ones and slide them in place. When installed, say on the drivers side, you should be able to use you finder and fold the seam over from the outside. The door glass compresses the seam to seal it shut. You may have to trim the bottom of the seal so the door closes right.

Thanks.......I am going to be replacing them withing the week, then the next ones will be around the wing vents....looking forward to that.
