Car is as nice in person as it looks in the photos. And I nearly got whiplash from the ride! Thank you Craig, hope I didn't snap your neck too hard... you have to admit, the car is fast!

Well>>> the big question is what are you going to be happy with, a star fire or a 442, my guess is the 442, but I could be wrong. My wife goes along with me at time, but mostly it's just me, or this year the garage. Now if you asked her about the time capsule convertible I have, that of course would be a completely different answer. Well, I actually love both cars, the 62 Starfire and the 65 442. I just do not use the car too often, it sits in the garage mostly. From time to time I might take it up to dunkin donuts for a cup of coffee... that is a 12 block trip. I take it to 3-4 local cruise nights a year, and 1 car show a year. The Starfire would probably be enjoyed more and the wife would enjoy being with me in it. Sounds like the non sensible ravings of the lunatic mind... I know, I know....... the saga continues! www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204824000060058&set=a.1022403080582.2004221.1240370163&type=1&theater¬if_t=like

Bob mentioned that I left out some important info... the car has a 455 in it with a M-21, 10 bolt posi 3:55's and tri carb. The original 400 all rebuilt some years ago sitting on a stand goes with the car as does the original hood, 4 steel rims with old redlines. Car is worth $32,000 but I will entertain offers!

You can settle the problem by simply buying the wife her own Starfire. Problem solved! And then............. maybe she should show more interest in what makes YOU happy. It is a two way street. My 2 cents YES! In a perfect world that would be exactly what I would do! Sadly I do not have $15-20K lying around

Here is the deal... the other day the wife tells me that she liked the 1962 Starfire I owned much more than the 442. (the Starfire was in need of a full restoration, and ugly) Then she states that she does not like the 442 at all. Now I know why she refuses to take a ride in it with me. I really would like it if my wife took at least some interest in my likes.
So I show her pics of 1962 Starfires, and she says to me. You can get one if you sell the 442 BUT it must be black! Which is ok as I am partial to black as well.
So I will be looking for a black coupe with a/c... you guys know of any???
Thank being said, the rust free 442 is for sale. $32,000 455 with tri-carb, 4 speed, 3:55 10 bolt. Hooker headers with 3 inch exhausts. I am open to offers
