Does anyone know of a good plater experienced in restoring the pot metal on my 65. Also what would be a good price for the 10 side moldings and the tail panel,I have collected pretty good pieces from out west with very little pitting. I live in New York but could ship them out of state.

I used Graves Plating in Florence Alabama to do mine. They do very good work but not cheap. I have not found anyone that can duplicate the brushed finish on the tail panel piece. Still holding out on that one.

I had several pieces plated on a few different orders. I think the hood trim and hood spear were around $125 ea. The 4 spd. shifter handle was $85. Just don't remember on the side trim because it wasn't broken out individually. The last quote I got for the tail panel was $750. And all of this was a couple of years ago. The prices went up each time I was there. But good work.

Strip tank, dip tank. About 5 minutes worth of labor. Its a shit hole of a place and their bumper work isnt the best. Three times to do my rear and the front had a dent that somehow turned into a hole.
