Just got my rear coil springs in and they are much taller than the ones that came out. After looking at the assembly manuel and RAM Z's car it looks like my originals were possibly wrong or replaced . The original rear coil spring sat on a spacer that's bolted to the axle tube and ironically has the same combined height as the new coil spring I recieved. So, which is correct and if it's the new taller one, what do I need to secure it to the axle Picture of the original/spacer is below.

Put that friggin' spacer back on the Volkswagen or Studebaker it came off of. I don't know what the hell that is, but it doesn't belong on a 442. Have you been looking at the pictures of the frames on this site? Bet you didn't see any of them with that thing.

According to the assembly manuel there's some sort of clip but the picture isn't real good. Also, need to know where I can get a couple.

You really don't need anything if you have a piece on the rear end that extends up into the bottom of the coil 1" to 2". There are some with a bolt hole in the lower rear end flange that takes a plate that fits the bottom coil and bolts it to the rear end flange.
