A arms are easy with an air chisel. Working from the inside, put the chisel at about a 45 degree angle on the metal edge of the bushing (not against the A arm). Hit the trigger, which should collapse the metal into the rubber and drive the bushing out at the same time. It takes about a second. Can't get any easier.

Well I used a little ingenuity, BR[]'s BFH and Mikes spacer idea and got all of them out real easy . Basically bought some 2" PVC, cut a couple sections from it to use as spacers inside the control arms, laid the control arms on a 3" piece of pipe and hit them with a two pound hammer. Couple shots per bushing but they flew right out! Was actually one of the easiest things so far. Cleaning up the A arms has turned out to be no fun though, what a mess and chore BFH PVC Cut to fit PVC Installed Pipe Set it on a hit it hard

And BTW, the auto zone bushing kit is useless and not for this type of job. It did come in handy for the upper A arms but that's it.
