To anyone who knows: What kind of process, tips, etc. is there on recreating the texture on the center console after repairing cracks and such. I went to a site called Jeff Lily restorations and they have a beautiful 66 442 vert that they restored. You can click on an icon that shows their progress. Not quite as detailed as RamZ's site but still cool. They show a manual 4 spd console in progress and they talk about recreating the texture on the plastic, but, they don't reveal their technique. Would like to know how to do this if anyone has had the experience.

Basically you find a scrap of vinyl with the same grain and press it into the semi-fresh repair.

I knew you'd come through Ram..Z.- Sounds easy enough, but, I'm sure it takes some finesse.?
