I think I've brought this up before but here goes again only different.? I've been trying to find a vendor that carries the correct tank. So far no one seems to have exactly what I need. Here is a description of what my tank looks like. My tank has one vent tube in the rear. And of course the hole for the sending unit. That's all !! What I'm finding out there is that all the tanks have Two vent lines in the rear, or Two vent lines in the front or etc, etc. I could get one of those and plug a hole but, I don't want to. I did manage to find that the 64-65 tank is the same as my 66 tank, which is fine, however, You have to weld your old spout on. Has anyone ever welded their own spout on? Is it simple to do your self? Or, am I missing something here? Is there a tank out there that is all ready to go as described above?

What you do is take the neck off your old tank, and take it along with the new tank to a radiator shop. They'll solder the neck onto your new tank. Doesnt cost much, 20 bucks or so.
