this might seem like a hair-brained idea, especially to a hardcore factory original guy, but would the 66 dash face fit in the 65 dash? a lot of us hate the rectangular speedo, and the 66's have a lot nicer gauge cluster. it looks like it would be damn close... 65... 66...

I have to admit the 65 dash layout is probably the worse feature of the car but it's not bad enough for ME to change it up.

**BRO**: tear the one out of your 66 and let us know how it goes with a 66 dash it would look original enough that most people wouldnt even question it... or you could make one of these...

Lordy Lordy, whats this world coming to. hahaha you got one right... fuel pump, water pump, and fan. i hid the toggle for the neons under the dash* i have red led indicators above them so i know when they are on/off, the two on the top outside of the speedo and tach are greel led turnsignal indicators, and the one between them is a blue led high beam indidicator. the three parts on the bottom will be raised like the original dash. i am also working on one with normal sized 3-3/8" tach and speedo. i could fit a radio on that one, but who needs a radio when you got 500 olds rocket power through 3" exhaust to listen to?
